reeltime sorry to hear the dealer I pointed you too didn't seem to work out for you. I don't mind saying what my deal came out to if it helps for comparison. I was offered $20,650 if I took the 0% at 84 months or $2500 off if I did 3.99% financing for 84 months and was told that over the phone before I even went to the dealer. So, I knew going there what the worst case scenario was. I do plan to pay this off within a year so taking the $2500 discount/rebate made sense to me. In fact he told me the payment difference was only $3/month more than the 0% option. So, if you plan to pay it off sooner you are better off to take the rebate. So what i got was the 3016 shuttle and FEL and wasn't considering the BH. Now, I'm sure I could have taken advantage of a rebate for adding the BH but for my needs it is not something I was willing to spend the extra $$ on at this time and didn't even ask for a quote. So I ended up paying $18,150 for the tractor and loader combo before taxes. I'm sure there have been better deals made on the 3016 in the past but given they are getting in short supply I don't feel that it was too bad. Like any dealer, your mileage may vary and I'm hopeful that these guys take care of me if I ever need it.
Like Dave said, the difference in 0% and cash or 4% financing is thousands of dollars. It might be worth clarifying with them if they were quoting the 0% cost. I was told mine is being delivered tomorrow morning so if that happens on time that is a good start to the relationship. They are delivering it over an hour away for free and the first two service intervals (50hr and 150hr) are for free by them so that was not bad either. Plus they come to my house to do it so I don't have to take the tractor in. Hence the reason I am hopeful this all works out as promised and if so I'll be a happy customer and recommend others to at least talk to them.
Best of luck in your search.
