2015 Hay Season

Finished baling yesterday. Got some much needed rain last week that put us a little behind with these last few fields but would rather see it rain anyways as dry as it's been.

Finished cutting my hay. About 33 acres. Will bale Thursday and Friday.

we started cutting yesterday.got about 25acs on the ground.cutting another 15acs or so today.will start baling thurs.the hay is real thick.so it should make slot of hay.

I cut about 7 acres a few days ago. Getting ready to go home and try out my new New Holland 450 utility baler. Hopefully it will go smoothly

yes the early rains helped alot.will know what its making later today.

Rolled 88 4x5 bales today off 20-22 acres. Rest will finish tomorrow. Did have one of those 15%er's move through. Rained just enough to bring the hay back into condition. It was getting too dry and getting inside the belts. Plus it knocked the dust for about 30 minutes.

Wish I could say I was going to get close to farmers count but at least I got the baler to work and I can finish up the overlly dry hay and get the fields fertilized for the next cutting.
