I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did but I thought it would be moved to "Friendly Politics" instead of being totally removed.

Why? Is it easier for you to pretend there aren't any problems out there???

I am all too aware of the problems out there, I am also aware that there are places for that discussion, and places not for that discussion. Obviously this section of this forum is not the place.

Any more the majority is becoming the minority. A few people complain and the next thing you know, history is trying to be rewritten.
They will never be able to remove all the traces of the southern culture. Too many statues, buildings, bridges and many hundred of thousands text books.
**** you name it once, it should stay that way for life.
The thousands of people that fought for either side of this so called United States, would be turning over in their graves, if they could see what the country that they fought for, has become!

Same thing happened to me when I called **REDACTED** a liar and a thief. No notice, no warning, no PM, no nothing. Just deleted and gone. Google search still finds the thread, but you can't open it.
Makes me wonder if TBN if covering for a serial liar and thief.
You were sent an email about it at the time your thread was removed.
As for covering for a reputed bad dealer, TBN policy prohibits discussing problems with a dealer because they are (almost) invariably one sided and often turn into slander (not saying that yours was, but that is the reason for the rules). It makes no difference if the dealer is an advertiser on here or not.

Nothing is ever gone on a message forum. It was moved to a Mod area probably awaiting it's final dispensation. You should have thought twice about starting that thread in the open areas, it is a credit to the staff that they moved it so quickly.
Correct. It needed a moderator with access to that forum to put it there and that moderator (me) was busy making hay and earning a living.
It is there now: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/friendly-politics/339961-confederate-flag.html

The Friendly Politics forum is the proper place to start a thread that is guaranteed to drop into political commentary like a bowling ball dropped from an airplane.

Next time, please start such threads in the politics forum and save everyone time...
Also, threads such as this would be best started in the News/Feedback section (http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/news-feedback/)

Sure wish TBN would define political. In my opinion as long as you don't solicit for money or endorse a candidate or party directly it should remain up and available to all. No restrictions. No subject is non political. Land, water, agriculture, housing, fuel, pollution (EPA) issues with equipment, you name it, it's politically effected. Sure wish TBN would put on their big boy pants and embrace America's most protected right, free political speech. TBN has tarnished and cheapened it's brand in last few years with their attempt to control speech. A question for TBN, do you sell member information? Have you ever been asked to provide information about members to government? HS

I never received any e-mail on this subject.

In the case of it being one-sided, you are exactly right. That's because the POS won't respond to e-mails, won't answer the phone and won't respond to voicemails (assuming you can even leave one). He apparently can't even be bothered to respond to Paypal.

TBN, as with most websites, is privately owned, so the owner has exclusive right to decide what will and won't be allowed. You can decide who will be allowed in your home or on your property and what you will allow them to say or do. Don't you think others should have the same rights. After all, if you don't like what the owners of TBN do, there's a real simple solution. I'll let you guess what it is. But in view of how TBN has grown over the years, I guess the majority of users approve of what's been done.

If your thread disappears, it's because someone thought it violated the TOS for the forum.

I've had a couple removed over the years. Don't take it personally, and don't flame over it.

Best thing to do is e-mail Mohammed or the person who pulled it and politely ask them what it was in the thread that caused them to pull it. They've always replied and had valid reasons for doing so. Let's face it, how many of us proof-read everything we post here before we post it, or even edit it afterwards?
