Hi all , my Kioti DS 4510 is now 3 years old now. When it was 2 months out of its 2 year warranty one of the welsh plugs sprung a leak. I removed the welsh plug and was amazed to find it had rusted very badly and had concerns about the remaining plugs, luckily the leaking one was easy to access but it is troubling not knowing if the others would go the same. I contacted the dealer where I purchased it knew and they never even returned my call.i have not had any other issues but the customer support here in Brisbane is very poor, I recently contacted the main Kioti branch about purchasing a subframe for a backhoe and that also was a waste of time, he didn't even know what the subframe was for or how much it would cost! If I had my time again I would NOT buy Kioti.

Kioti Corporate is not going to know what a subframe costs. That's something you need to talk to a dealer about. A complete backhoe assembly will go from about 6 to 9 thousand US dollars right now, don't know what the conversion and/or upcharge would be for AU. Remember too, you can get a bad, or great dealer with any brand. Hope this helps.

My '09 CK20HST has 353 hours with zero issues so far - a really hard-working little tractor :)

I'm 3 months short of three years ownership of mine and I am at 305 hours. Most of that is winter snow blowing. Even with the minor hiccups along the way, I think I have a good-un.

DK40 HST has 907 hours.. Starter switch had to be cleaned with electrical contact cleaner then I put some electrical grease on the key and poked some in the switch..
Most of work has been with loader. Flawless.
I did have to put a piggyback oil plug as I stripped the original. Re threaded pan, installed the piggy and now hold a wrench on the main to keep it tight and drain from the insert plug...

I am up to 66 hours. The only complaint is finding something that needs to be done so I can get more seat time.:D
It needed a "regen" at 30 hours, no problem other than waiting for 10 minutes or so. I have done the 50 hour service with no problems.
So far I am very happy with my choice.:)

2004 DK35 440 hours. Ignition switch was not working very well took apart cleaned lubed up and works great.
Sits under the shed most of the time then bush hogs and loader work.

Everything else is because I tore it up.

127 hrs on my 2014 CK2510, probably half Backhoe work.

Just finished stacking (piling) 4 cords of firewood.

Only problem besides getting off the filter put on by the factory gorilla, is I found one grease nipple broken off and two frozen at last greasing. The ones from the auto-parts store don't fit right. Still looking.

No problems.

I would think there are two reasons for your results;

1. It's a well built tractor
2. You have taken good care of it.

Congrats, I hope we all have the same kind of results.

DSCN2064.JPG The obligatory picture.

Yes it is both.
If I didn't like it, or it had given me lots of problems I would have gotten rid if it.
But it has been really good to me, so it gets whatever it needs.
It's a keeper

DK90 800+ hrs

water pump at about 40 hours (the factory installed the pump with a tiny wrinkle in the gasket to block seal, so it seaped coolant to the outside). Perkins mechanic replaced with new pump on site. Been good ever since. Luckily a Perkins Distributor is within an hour and a half of me (close in these parts). He had a pump in stock.

blew O-ring in loader control valve top bolt last summer. Replaced myself. Factory pinched the original. It happened again about a week ago. I believe the seat in the valve is not machined quite deep enough, or the bolt is slightly long, as the upper O-ring is not fully captured by the groove in the bolt and has to hold pressure, rather than just seal. If it happens again, I will modify the bolt on a lathe. Easy job to replace, but a PITA to clean up the mess. And it shouldn't be happening. The bolt was barely more than hand tight on first blowout. I used a cheap oring I had on hand the first time and got some OEM ones mailed in preparation for the second time. So now I need more again for spares until I fix this issue for good. My spic and span tractor is holding dirt now.

I replaced tie rods (ball joints) just the other day due to the originals having lots of slop already. New parts are a different part # (upgraded). Hopefully they hold up. Known issue. Easy job anyways if I have to keep replacing them on warranty. I had to wait a couple of weeks for parts, as there were none in North America at the time. They should be stocked-up now. I was told that there was no chassis paint available to paint my hammer marks on the tie-rod end sockets. I guess the Duetz blue will work for now. I'll get some Kioti blue at the Kubota dealer I guess.

This tractor is very well thought out and servicing is a breeze.

Nearest dealer is 6hrs away, so I have to do things myself. Hopefully nothing major goes wrong. There's a new dealer coming soon about 1 1/2 hours away, so that is good.

Otherwise I am thoroughly enjoying this tractor. For the money it can't be beat, IMO. Other than the water pump, the issues have been minor so far. And the water pump was painless for me as I didn't have to do the mechanicin'. And BTW, that is also a fairly easy job. Gotta like when things are put together with room to work.

I have a little more than 180 hours on my NX6010. I'd have more but summer came.
