If you want HST the B2601 with the 3 ranges is sweet.

Deeres mower setup is neat, but heck you can a ZTR for the extra they ask!

Kioit, is stong tractor, but both HST & gear transmissions are its its downfall. Primitive.

A sub compact is for a yard, (Small tires) while a small cut for hobby farm and projects.

If you must have a MMM, shop careful.

To me, it jus makes sense to just own a lawn tractor and go with the CUT.

I can't speak for their HST's (though difficult to imagine much difference in machines under 40 HP), but I disagree with the statement regarding Kioti manuals. Since when is a fully synchronized shuttle shift on a 30 HP tractor primitive? As far as I can tell this is as good or better than most in this size range. They do have live PTO's, but I prefer that over the electric over hydraulic setup, especially for post hole digging.

My experience with a Kioti HST transmission is horrible. My Grand L HST is great. My Grandpas standard L HST is a huge step down from the Grand, but still better than the Kioti.

A lot of people are recommending a whole lot of tractor for 2 acres of land to the OP. I think he would be perfectly content with a SCUT or CUT with a MMM, especially now the SCUT's have drive over decks... I would prefer to keep one machine in the garage vs two if they both do / can do the same job.

Agree. My 21 hp tractor served me well on 1.5 acres for a long time. Thought I wanted an MMM. Now that I have one I revert back to the tow behind finish mower often because I don't want to hassle the hookup of the MMM.

I have put my fair share of hours on a CK25. Even the 1980 HST in my B7100 is better.

I keep hearing better but what do you mean? How is the kioti not as good? Sheesh, it's like pulling teeth to get an answer.
