Looks like it finally stopped snowing here. I went out and took a measurement and we have 26".
Last year I was stuck in Seattle for 36 hours as my connecting flight was cancelled. They wanted the plane in philly after the storm. As act of God, airline gave us nothing.Normally I'm a big fan of big snowfalls. This time not so much.
My wife and I went to the airport this morning at zero dark 30 to take our first real vacation in years and our flight was cancelled due to the storm on the east coast. We were going to the Dominican Republic but our flight was routed through Newark. Now we're losing 3 of our 7 days at the resort because we can't get out until Tuesday. I half expected this to happen when I saw the weather forecast, but I checked the flight info before we left and it showed we were good as we would be just ahead of the storm. I'm Ok with it except for the money we're losing on our reservations. The whole act of God, it's not our fault thing.
Ok, I'm done complaining about spilled milk.
Hey Sterff, where are you in central pa? I'm just north west of Harrisburg. We are at around 28" or so with another 2-6" on the way.

We have about 28" here in Middletown, Pa. Still snowing and blowing pretty hard. I made a path out of my drive way so I could go to one of my neighbors house to clear his driveway. He has to go to work in the morning so I did it for him. I don't think our back roads will be open in the morning but he has an open driveway. I will do the rest of mine and some other neighbors tomorrow.
