Advise on being ripped off at Kioti dealer

Gents, the OP (u122423) has not weighed in on this thread since day 1. Recommend we put this thread on ignore until he/she does.

Tell that to the ones that had the injector pump issues on the 2005-2008 models with no help.

I arrived in May 2009, after all that was history, and so were the cracked loader buckets. I didn't say always, I said time and time again Kioti has proven itself to stand behind their customers, and that has been my experience since I've been involved here. I've had 2 Kioti tractors, a 2009 DK-35/HST and a 2010 DK-40/HST, with 1200+ hours between them. I have their KB-2485 backhoe too, and have NEVER experienced a significant problem that my dealer, TBN members, or Kioti corporate couldn't resolve to date. YMMV, but my experience is Kioti has done their level best to build brand loyalty and recognition during the 2009 - current timeframe. What went on with IPs and other issue is history and can't be changed. Not saying it is right, but there is no going back, only forward. Let's hope their good will and customer support continues to improve over time.:thumbsup:

There shop rate is $86.00 per hour. I am located near Marion Ohio. The $300 to go get it does not include the new parts, and most likely not all the old parts! Kind of afraid of that. At this point I'm not sure what is going on, I have not heard from the dealer in several weeks.

Clearly thid dealer does not care about keeping your business. Sounds like he has found a way to sandbag you and dissuade you from trying to fight back. Can you afford to walk away at this point?

I would stay on top of things.

IIRC, we left off with the dealer telling you to come get everything for $300, or let them fix it for $xxxx which was too much money.

You havent heard from the dealer because they likely havent touched it if you didnt give them an answer, or if they havent been contacted by kioti to resolve the issue. Did you ever do any of the suggestions in the thread here? reach out to a kioti rep? or a independent shop?

You won't hear from him- he's waiting on your decision. Do what we've suggested, and the sooner the better, or you're more likely to loose more of the parts they've taken off it already as time passes.
Get hold of Kioti Corporate, and escalate this thing until it gets resolved to your satisfaction. What tractor did you buy from the dealer to replace the one they have in the shop?

I bought a new 30 hp tractor before all of this took place. I am going to get ahold of the Ohio rep tomorrow.

I completely agree , the issue will never be resolved if you don't stay on top of it. They may even push the thing outside and let it set if they don't hear from you.
