Cluck cluck cluck went the chickens...
So enough victim bashing and dealer bashing. Let's get back to the serious issue at hand....
The OP has gone radio silent so whatever is happening he isn't giving any play by play. We only have one side of this story. We also haven't heard anything about the legal issues in the OP's state that cover consumer disputes. Clearly crowd sourcing advice is his go-to MO whenever there's a tractor probbo. So what do you get when you ask a bunch of self sufficient independent minded forum members? Useless clucking.
Dude needs a lawyer and now.
That said I would happily rent a trailer, haul that pile home, put it on Craigslist and let someone else take on the whole darn mess. And the dealer would get zero dollars from me, since I just bought a new machine from him....

The guy got a new engine from Kioti and he made it clear that he wouldn't have ended up with that resolution without the input of forum members.
Useless clucking? I don't think so.
A lawyer would quickly cost more than the tractor is worth. His go to isn't crowd sourcing advice....he has asked two questions in 2 years.
And the dealer wants $300 before he gives the heap of parts back to the owner, so he wont get it back with "zero" dollars.

I would just pay the fee long before I hired a lawyer on my dime.

Says the guy with 29 post who admits to being bitter about how he was treated in the past and now wants to know why someone else isn't being treated poorly too.

Seems like things "add up" fairly well.

Thank You MMagis. Luke, my friend, there is no bitterness. I was simply implying that my legit question/thread is FAR more believable than this story. I truly hope this guy hasnt had to endure such a horrible experience. Time will tell, as others said, and so far, nobody has slammed him or gave him any reason to feel he isn't getting friendly advice. It is reasonable to believe he will be back if this is truly legit.

And to the OP, I apologize if I came off too strong. Maybe I should have worded it differently. I'm sure you understand my skepticism.

I just cant get my head around any business treating their customers like this. No matter what brand, or vehicle, or 4 wheeler, boats, etc. It just doesn't make sense. Seems like he would have tons of lawsuits against him. ****, who knows, maybe his actions are even criminal? Sounds like a possibility to me but I'm certainly no law expert.

Since you live in Oz you have no idea what kind of consumer protection exists in this person's state. So yes it is indeed useless clucking. Legal assistance exists that will neither cost the complaintant any money nor be a bad decision. Often there will be a state or county level office of consumer affairs that can direct this person to the proper pathway. Crowdsourcing advice is 99 percent of the time a fail.

Doesn't sound like you have much of an idea of consumer disputes in Ohio. Not surprising seeing that you are in Maryland. Hasn't stopped you from commenting though.
It seems that you feel people outside the US don't have a right to participate. You might like to know that this is not a USA only website and you don't have a right to imply that people can't comment based on their location. If you have a problem with that then you can take it up with the site admin.
Kioti is an international organisation and in my opinion they would be the best first port of call for assistance and you can't stop me from saying that.
The link I provided shows that it has been a proven route to resolve issues.

You said "lawyer" not "consumer affairs". You also said crowdsourcing was his "go to" which was clearly wrong, now you have changed it to 99% fail rate. Please do stick to what you have said and not change it to try and continue a pointless argument; it is really useless clucking and looks increasingly like attention-seeking trolling.

Oh Stan I am so flattered that you went to all that effort to point out how wrong I am. I guess you really DO love me! Awwww.

Seeing as you went to so much trouble to make up such a lot of nonsense, it was really the least I could do.

:confused::confused2::eek:

Alright already, enough battling over nothing guys; let's get this train back on the track-OK?!

I was one of the key people in the referenced thread that helped the Kioti owner resolve his blown up tractor motor issue. I mention this because I've been involved in a few what would otherwise be considered hopeless, or near hopeless cases of failures of Kioti tractor components over the past several years, as have other dedicated Kioti tractor owners, and other helpful TBN members, here on TBN.

I mention this because the thread was referenced, and it does point out that Kioti does a good job, in fact IMHO, and excellent job of standing behind their product, and doing their best to resolve issues that couldn't easily be solved if it weren't for their getting involved on the customer's behalf. This is NOT a politically motivated message, instead it is a FACT that Kioti has time and time again come to their customer's aid. Why? Maybe because they recognize the value of keeping existing customers happy. Not all dealers, Kioti or otherwise have the same or similar business awareness, and that's just the way things are here in America - unfortunately these days, but I'd bet it's not vastly different elsewhere, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.

Anyway, what struck, and continues to strike me as strange is why would the OP go buy another tractor from the same dealer BEFORE resolving the broken tractor? That to me just doesn't make sense; unless he knows things he hasn't shared about needing a replacement right away, or similar.

Hey OP! Where are you? We want to know how this turns out, and sooner than later.....:confused3:

Tell that to the ones that had the injector pump issues on the 2005-2008 models with no help.
