If your main task will be stumping, you really might want to investigate getting a ripper to replace the bucket. A ripper makes much faster work of stumps for the simple reason that it applies all the power to a 1 or 2 inch blade rather than a 24 or 36 inch bucket. A ripper also allows you to remove stumps with far less disturbance of the surrounding soil. I had a ripper fabricated for my Woods BH90x from a design I developed based on excavator rippers. Cost me about $500. I'd imagine you could get one built for an excavator for about double that which would make the work go a lot faster. Michigan Iron and Equipment built mine (and others) and they are a pleasure to work with. Ask for Bob or Tony and see what they think.
that is a lot of stump that you took on there. how did you get it out of there?
