- Few John Deere's and one Ford 3600 diesel.
I would wait about 3 years before I bought one to make sure they get the bugs worked out..
The best features are...
CGI Block
Port and direct fuel injection
450 Ft/lbs of torque
All forged internals
10 speed Transmission.
Where do you see it's a CGI block?
This article mentions the block is new, just fails to mentioned it's CGI.
I just know...
To funny, this day in age everything is bigger and better.Where will it end?I think I will wait for the 13 or 15 speed.:cool2:
They still put the oil filter in the hardest spot possible to change. The transmission still has no drain feature or dipstick. My two grips...
Do any new vehicles have automatic transmission dipstick and drains? I have three cars with automatics, the oldest being a 2008 and none have dipsticks or drains. You can only check the level with a removable plug.
Do these new Ecoboosts , have a sort of dual fuel system now ? I read one thread forum about how Ford was using dual system to prevent buildup of carbon on the valves that normally would not occur in carbureted engines , because fuel washes the intake valve. But admit I don't understand what exactly Ford is up to with their Direct Injection that most makes have gone to. Maybe it is more serious in their Direct injection engines because turbo is down stream and carbon flying off valves is not good thing to enter turbos.

I wonder if they will offer the 5.0 and 10 speed combo, its too bad the days of the manual transmission is gone in half-tons.
