2012 Mahindra Max 22, John Deere D120
I've been looking at a 5T 6*12 dump trailer to haul spoil, gravel stone etc. I would also like to haul my Mahindra Max 22 TLB. I'm away from home and don't have the ability to take a tape measure to the tractor. The tractor spec's say 102.4 + 38" overhang on the backhoe. It's been suggested that I can rest the loader bucket on the front of the dump box to get the tractor in (hopefully closing the rear doors). The dump trailers I've been looking at are by Miska (I live in Canada, Made in the USA is just to expensive when I'm spending .66 cent dollars). I'm walking a tight rope as well in regards to weight, my F150's are rated for a little over 5T, and my drivers licence is good for this trailer loaded ( over 5T I would need a class A tractor trailer licence). Further Miska (miskatrailers.com) offers 2 models, single telescopic hoist, C channel frame vs. scissor lift tube frame. My preference would be the 6T telescopic hoist industrial unit (it's only a couple hundred bucks more and comes standard with a 12' box. I'm really not a trailer guy could someone that know trailers take a look at these units and tell me what they think.
P.S. I may only haul the TLB for 5% or less of the trailer usage.

Realistically few tractors fit in a dump trailer trailer you can pull with a pickup. You might fit a Kubota B or BX in, but not a L with a loader, much less an impliment. My L3200 with a loader & mower on my 16' tilting deck hung over the back a foot & the loader was 3'+ onto the really long neck. Dump trailers really top out at 12', maybe 14'. You'll have no room to balance your machine for proper load balancing, not to mention have problems tying it down.

Dump trailers are also a lot heavier than a much longer deck trailer.

6t looks like a good trailer as it has 2 axles both with brakes which are needed. Tractor my be a little tight but you should be OK, I would mark out size of trailer around your tractor. I am looking at a 12' to put my B26 tlb Kubota in but plan on a gooseneck whick the loader can set on.

The 6 ton trailer might be fine for those of us in the USA, but not for folks in Canada.
As the OP pointed out in his post, a trailer with over 5 ton GVWR requires a class A tractor trailer license in Canada.
I do not have a US class A license, and I take my Maine registered 7 ton equipment trailer to Canada each summer (I take my summertime toys with me).
I do not know if it is completely legal (in Canada) for me to be doing that.

I had a 16' Gooseneck dump trailer I pulled with my 3/4 ton pickup and I hauled my M59 TLB of in it.

If I had a loader and BH,, I would hang them out,,, and go,,,

My trailer is rated for 10K pounds.

My 32hp L3200, loader & a back blade on my 16' tilting deck trailer. If I put on my 2' stake sides I'd break the front side with the loader I expect & I know I couldn't close the back with the rotary cutter mounted. I couldn't imagine getting my tractor into a 12' trailer unless I dumped the loader & impliment. I haul it a bt for business, so need to be able to have my impliments attached & ready when I finish hauling.

Hanging an impliment over the front or rear gets very dicy. Legally every imliment needs to be strapped down. If the hoe is hanging out the bavk, there is no deck to strap the hoe down to. Hanging the loader over the front leaves you tongue to strap the loader to.

I can't imagine stuffing anything but a B or BX in something smaller trailer than what I have. I can't say it can't be done, but I'd be curious how you could fit & properly tie down a small SCUT into a dump.

The issue, often overlooked, is not just will it fit dimensionally, but will you be able to position the tractor fore/aft in order to have acceptable tongue weight. This is especially important if transporting long distances or at higher speeds. I have seen way too many pics posted on this site of tractors shoe-horned onto a small trailer with very obvious weight/balance problems.

When I was transporting my Kubota B2920, I needed a 16' deck in order to be able to position the tractor for proper tongue weight in all the various tractor/implement configurations. The tractor itself was under 9' long. With my 3-pt chipper on the rear, I barely had enough room on that 16' trailer.

Here is how I loaded my 3510 Branson on my 16' trailer.
This trip I put the bucket on the bulkhead and had the tiller on the rear.
I have a Backhoe Attachment for my tractor and when hauling the tractor with it on I hang the hoe bucket over the tail gate with no problems.

Good point. I occasionally haul my S185 Bobcat skid steer in my 6x12 CAM Superline dump. I adjust position to center the weight over the axles as best as I can. Even then, part of the bucket bottom rests on the tailgate. (it's backed in). I wouldn't think you could haul a very big tractor (especially with an implement of any kind) in a 6x12.
The OP is talking about at least 140 inches of equipment in a 144 inch trailer. A little too close for my comfort.
