Just went back into the settings on mine and found it still set to 30 minutes. I reset it to no time out and will have to see if it sticks this time. Maybe I will get the finicky out of this thang!

Struggling to get my chromecast back working. I reset the chromecast to the Mobley and it is seeing the network and displaying rotating images but can't get anything else to see that now. EDIT: Had to do a factory reset on my Chromecast dongle and set it up from scratch to get it back working on the new network.

More feedback.

My PC trying to wifi to the GL-AR150.... "Can't connect to this network."

I tried my android phone, then an ipad....both say...'incorrect password'.

I completely reset the GL-AR150 router and redid everything, and it changed absolutely nothing.

For reasons I don't understand, trying to wifi to this router it cannot interrupt the password I give it.

At a lost.

sodamo...need your advice on the GL-AR150.

I have it hooked to the Mobley. I can plug into the lan port to my laptop and I get the internet thru Mobley. router is usb to Mobley. BUT, I cannot go to the router via wifi. I see it trying to connect, network light blinks on the trys, but ends with "Can't connect to this network."

SO...it works via cable, but not the wifi.
Under internet settings....cable is DHCP, 3G is the same as photo you posted, if I try to do anything under repeater, it says can not update wan.


Lost as to what to try next.

I also set DNS on router to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

Found the problem. When first logging into Mobley you provide the password. When setting up the wifi...you have got to repeat it. In the password field it says 'Leave blank to keep un' ..... and I took that truncated message as meaning to leave blank to keep unchanged. I guess not. I repeated the password in that setting...then wifi worked.

Speed test shows very little difference between being logged direct to Mobley or on the GL-AR150.

UPDATE for anyone interested.

This morning, the Mobley was working fine....then boom, no signal. I had to run to town, did so, some 3+ hours later, I checked it still no signal. I did a chat session with at&t.

After going thru many different motions including a 'master' reset of the device....that corrected it. Seems I hit the 22GB limit, and per the tech he noted that he saw this on the account. When I hit it, they effecting locked the Mobley (probably in error) and this 'master' reset was need.

I said on forums, many using the Mobley had not been throttled....his reply.... "yeah its just a way to kinda conserve usage on the network, to be honest it doesnt happen too often but we do see it sometimes." I was the sometimes.

The good news, I got back on the Mobley, checked speeds, they are the same as before. So the 22GB was hit, but they did not throttle, but they did something that required the Mobley to have this master reset.

That is odd, I have gone over 22 GB every month, well over and never had any issues, well good to know if I do I can just reset.

Received my GL-AR150 router and it has no external antenna or any place to plug one into.

Edit: got it working but password change didn't take.

The GL-AR150 come in 2 flavors with or without external antenna, item description/pic should have shown appropriate. W/0 is a dollar or 2 cheaper.

Once connected, follow the instructions to access and set up similar to the screens I posted earlier. Really easy if you don't over think it.
