Anyone have any info as to how long the $20 offer will be available? I've heard July 21, but also July 17.

I seriously doubt anyone here has a definitive answer they can substantiate authoritatively.

Where did you read this? I know the terms say they may change or end the plan at any time but I hope it lasts for a while. I have been changing all my emails off my CL account in preparation for terminating service with them.

My account is at 26 gigs and remains steady. It's not the blazing fast speeds some have reported but it's at least double the speed of my DSL on it's worst day. On a cloudy day I see speeds upwards of 14 Mbps down for some reason. I guess the clouds hold the signal down so I get a better shot at it.

I do think that router is restricting the upload speed. Has anyone else noticed that?

Not particularly happy with this GLAR150 I have, except for it's price. It simply not as stable, and I want to port forward for security camera reason and can't make it work.

Wonder if you got a bad one?
The main guy on forum at GLi forum Forums – GLI seems pretty responsive.

On the other hand, seems a few on HoFo have had frustrations with the Asus router as well. There was also a discussion where poor quality USB data cable to Mobley was the culprit.

I also had stability problems with the AR150 but I wasn't sure if they were caused by the router or the Mobley. When I unplugged the router I continued to have trouble for a few resets of the Mobley then it became stable. I have had the AR300 plugged in for a couple of days and both units have been rock steady.

Not sure what port forwarding is or why you need it for a security camera. I set up an old cell phone as a camera using IP Webcam and got it to work through the AR300. For testing I put it in a plastic baggy and placed it 400+ feet from the router and could access the image from my PC in the house or on my cell phone. I am going to play with that further sometime in the future.

With proper port forwarding, I could access the security cameras remote over the internet......it's not a must have, but a mother in law left here by herself...had some people come to the house she had no idea who they was or what to do. Viewing things via security cameras could help.

With mine, we are not assigned a true public address, but rather a private address on the WAN side. Hence, port forwarding really won't work.

If your connection is similar to mine, a tracert shows two private subnets before getting to the first public address, so the chances of making an uninitiated inbound connection are very slim. One of the reasons the service is inexpensive is because users don't consume public addresses.

That occurred to me the cellular connection is a problem doing that.
