Brand New B2650 UDT fluid leaking

I did look there and couldn't find the parts diagram. I was logged in also. I must not be finding the correct link. I found where I can order the parts book, but that is not what I want.

It used to be that you requested what parts diagrams you needed and they'd email it to you, not sure if they still do this as I haven't been on their site in a little while.

There is a filter mount shown in "C42900 REAR AXLE CASE RH" but I don't know if that's the filter in question since there is more than one filter. But I suspect it's the one.

Based on his first pictures it looks like the LH filter on the transaxle. I want to say that its the HST filter.

I found the diagram and it doesn't look like there is a replaceable part for the oil filter threads. It's all built into the casing. Look at the center of the picture. I am hoping there is no crack in the housing although that would be hard to crack I would think.

Thanks. I wanted to see if anything else could be the issue other than the filter. I doubt there is though after looking at the diagram. I'm hoping the oil seal of the filter just got screwed up and replacing the filter should fix it. The seal around the filter where it mates with the casing looks tight though. I even tried to tighten the filter up more by hand, but couldn't budge it.

If you use the center drain plug and don't drain the final drives it should be even less, also raise the 3pt fully and curl the bucket down etc. will reduce the amount of fluid in the trans.

Why do you want to inspect the engine oil filter mount?

The filter is the one that points to the side (drivers side you could say) of the tractor. There is another filter that points to the back of the tractor, but that is not where the leak is.

It appears in the diagram to have female threads, if so there will be a steel nipple that screws into the housing to adapt the filter.

The housing is aluminum, and while quite strong can be cracked if hit hard enough. I remember some bx had the filter nipple machined into the housing and managed to break it off.

Hopefully it's somthing easy to fix.

I wasn't expecting the the female threads. That is odd. I am hoping that replacing the filter fixes the issue. This sucks, but if it is an easy fix, I'll be happy with that.

Thinking about it now, since they are female threads, the filter has the male threads on it which protrude out of the filter. The place it protrudes out of could easily bend when it was struck. If the male threads were on the case, that would bend first so this could be a good thing that the threads are setup like this.
