Okay, now that you brought that up... when I grill a steak I make sure to not align the grill marks with the short/long dimensions of the steak. Must be diagonal (diamonds)!

Speaking of diagonal lines, who (other than Moss :dance1: ) mow their lawn on the diagonal, alternating angles so the lawn looks like the pro ball field?

Not me. The Wife enjoys mowing the yard. She just alternates the direction each mowing.

What's a lawn? I have some patches of weeds and pasture grass.

I mow anything, other than the lawn, that I can get to with the riding mower. I get stuck quite often, just not enough clearance. Maybe slightly taller tires or chains...

I have red clover and bird vetch. Clover gets about a foot tall.

I am very sensitive to certain taste. One of them is a burnt taste. So any grill marks on a steak, even if the blood is still running out will taste like a black piece of toast. So if I pick up that taste anywhere within the steak, I cannot get the taste out of my mouth, and the rest of the steak is now burnt.
