Okay, well good news, and bad news.
Loader is all mounted, and everything hooked up.
It works, sort of. Control is good, but extremely slow. Also, have fluid leaking out of my brand new Pierce loader valve through the joystick boot. Have to call
Surplus Center on Monday about that I guess.
I do not have the “power beyond” hooked up on this particular setup, yet. I wasn’t thinking I would need it, but I very well might from what I’ve been reading.
My lines go from the pressure side of the pump up to the inlet of the loader valve. The out port goes out of the outlet of the valve and then back to the banjo bolt under the seat currently.
Also, seems like the pump system is under some duress with or without 3 point attachment hooked up. even when lowering the boom. I’ve made sure to check (4 times) all of my loader hoses to be sure they all go to the right places on the loader and loarder valve, according to the diagram for the loader valve.
More bad news, after noticing how slow the boom operation was, and how the pump/system seemed to be making some whining noise when operating the boom both ways, I decided to just take off the box blade from the 3 point, so that way no other effort was spent trying to hold it up.
As we were speaking about a couple of pages back, I am now 100% convinced and have confirmed there is some sort of problem with my 3-point. The arms will not even stay up on their own now unless I pull the raise/lower handle all the way back basically where it is working against the relief valve.
I pulled the strainer for inspection and cleaning and changed the fluid as well.
Seems like I’m going to have to re-build the piston for the 3 point?
If they doesn’t solve the issue then what, time for a pump?
