Lifted one end of a 25' tree trunk so I could cut some chunks off of it, then hauled the remaining 10' section uphill.

No way I could have done that without it.

Messed around in the dirt a bit more. Took the BH off (again) and hitched up the tiller to move it where I could work on a frame to to set it on to make it easier to connect next time. Didn't get very far with that idea yet. Need to conjur up something.

I unloaded 3 tons of coal, bagged and on pallets, from the back of a flatbed truck. The 4047 wouldn't lift the full ton, so we had to reduce each pallet from 50 40lb bags to 38 bags. So, I learned the limit for my 4047, lifting a load on a pallet from about 4.5 feet above the ground, is about 1550lbs. I wonder if anyone else had measured the limits of your particular LS, and if so, what were your results for your model?

Put in switches for the LED light additions to the tractor. Front and rear light bars. Figured out the ignition/relay/wiring. This was harder if only for the patience involved with the dremel cutofff wheels...

It aint perfect but it's a tractor. This will be durable and functional.

Found out it can be a sod cutter. At least for very small amount on wet turf. Had a section that needed to be patched and a section that I was going to till up. Decided since the ground was so moist, I'd try to scoop a bit of sod off before I tilled. Worked great; no real effort or loading down of the machine. Sliced it clean about an inch deep. Got a bucket full and hauled it to the bad section.

Then went to tilling.

today I used my glorified wheel barrow/hand trucks to move a Christmas present from the back of my truck to the storage building outside

then I hooked up the PHD I bought a few weeks ago for $150 and dug a hole for transplanting a bush before the rain sets in tonight and tomorrow....

today I needed to take the PHD off the tractor. Man those things are about the most aggravating things to hook up and take off....So, I searched out 'post hole digger stand' and found one that was quick and easy to build. Less than 20 bucks, of course I did have a few pieces of scrap lumber laying around, but even at that, if I'd had to buy another 8' 2x4 it wouldn't have put me over $25. I made it so I can move it, as I am working on cleanup and fencing on that side of the yard, once I finish that, and settle on where to put it, I'll put the posts in the ground in concrete. Didn't try to hook it back up, but it sure made unhooking easy

Great idea. PHD's are obnoxious.

yes, yes they are!!! LOL this isn't my idea though, I did a search for 'PHD stands' and so many came up....this was the quickest and easiest to get done before dark. once I'm done with that side of the yard, I'll make something a little more permanent

I fiddle dee diddled around with a frame for the tiller so I could hoist it a bit to make it easier to maneuver while trying to get it attached. Got most of it roughed in with old 4x4s to at least see if the idea would work. I think it probably will, but I may get new lumber and brackets to make all the joints stronger and tighter.
