B2650 rear pto locked up?

What's bad about it? The bearings are bathed in the hyd oil so if they are rusted up there's a larger problem.

That seal looks almost factory new to me, just a little dirt stuck to the grease that I can see.

Don’t know if they have a brake or not. I do know mine doesn’t turn no matter where I put the lever. Key on or off, rear,middle selected or both selected on the range lever. Only turns with engine running and on lever pushed.

WOW!!!. there must have been some serious damage there!.. hopefully, whatever caused that will NEVER happen again!. but then, you never know..

I don't have the invoice yet but they said it cracked the rear housing around the pto that is what was leaking and a few gears where missing teeth which is why it did not want to switch on/off. What a mess.

I hope you have watched the Everything Attachment Video on how to cut and measure a PTO shaft before you use the Snow Blower again.
