I really like my Steelie by Nite Ize. Small 3/4 steel ball on the dash and small magnet on phone. Holds the phone in any direction you like and very unobtrusive.

I use knock-off NiteIze as well for my truck (https://goo.gl/y2f4PA). Carry work and personal cell and they sit out of the way and can be rotated on the ball in any direction. Mine are mounted near the top of my dash, so I can rotate them so they rest on the dash with the screen pointing straight up - kind of a do not disturb mode for me while driving.

I also just upgraded to a Sony head unit in my '08 Frontier that has the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality built in - I don't think I'll ever have a vehicle without that capability again.

The Apple car play is an excellent feature. We use the GPS on it every time we travel and it is up to date and works flawlessly. Stick the phone in the center console and can do just about everything without touching it via voice command.

It's not different in the country. Every farmer I know relies heavily on technology these days. Cell phones, GPS, computer and internet are all essential for them.

How else am I supposed to open up the Messicks app to pull up the exploded parts diagram for the mower conditioner when it breaks?
