Thanks guys. Glad to see some fellows here that appreciate the old IHC Iron.

Right you are.

1971 1210 3/4 ton 4wd crew cab pickup (called a Travelette by IHC) with a 392 v8 and a T34 OD 5 speed manual. Bed is rotted out, but the cab isn't too bad. Needs a lot of love, which it'll get.

1967 Scout 800. 196ci I4 (basically half of a 392 V8, with its own unique block). T90 3 speed. Tub is almost rot free. Top needs some rust repair. Will run again once I replace the starter.

Behind the shop is a 1974 Scout II. 304A V8. T19 four speed. Runs, but tub and top are completely rotten. I have two parts rigs, another top, a perfect windshield frame and hood, and other parts.

All on hold until we sell our place and move outa state.

No photos of the real work, but my 5220r learned to work with its new prosthetic, an EA wicked root grapple. The log in the photo couldn稚 be picked up with my old grapple. The EA product is awesome!

Not exactly doing something with my tractor but did something for the tractor.

In Europe, we get a quick hitch lift arms. Basically it's the same thing as the Pat's quick hitch but it's welded on the lift arms and hooks to a ball instead of hooking to the implement pins.

A picture as example. The balls (right picture) will attach to the lift arms.

The tractor just came with a pair and it's a bit of a pain to keep changing the balls between the implements, so, since I have a lathe and milling machine, decided to build a ball turning attachment for the lathe and turn my own balls ( pun intended :D). They came out really nice and fit perfectly. I just show 3 made in the pictures but I made 4. I need to get more steel and make a couple more.

That's good,
I had the two sets that came with my tractor and wanted a couple more.
There are several available but not the right outside diameter,
I don't recall now but I think it was 2" and I found several 2.2" ones,
and the Branson ones are I believe $32 each, I found the right size for about $20 a pair US prices.

While pushing snow this morning, my reverse pedal came loose and swiveled around behind my forward pedal. I was able to move it enough to keep it from stopping the forward pedal from traveling, but it made it pretty awkward with my big wide snow boots on. And it made it nearly impossible to use reverse, could just barely get the edge of my boot to catch the reverse pedal to kind of move backwards.

So not really knowing what the issue was for sure, I cut my snow pushing short and parked it.

Then when I got home from work today, I plugged it in (bypassed the timer) and waited until after supper to look at it.

Here it is, for probably the second time since taking delivery that it's actually had a chance to be inside a garage, lol:

When I actually got a chance to look at the pedal and linkage, I had to laugh at myself. Thinking this would be more complex a fix, or that I would have to crawl under the tractor. No, the jam nut that was loose, was actually directly under the pedal itself, up inside the cab. It took me longer to get on all the stuff (insulated bibs, jacket, gloves, hat) that I thought I would need to lay on the concrete, then it actually took to "fix" the problem. Once I saw how easy it was.

Less than 10 minutes later, I was back out pushing snow again.

I hope all "fixes" are this easy.

Good to hear it was a simple repair.

Slim, your tractor looks uncomfortable and out of place in that nice warm garage.

Lol. Well, in the spirit of "full disclosure", that garage is not heated. Which is why I put all the cold weather "stuff" on, thinking I'd be out there laying under the tractor for a while.

Well, I have been unable for way too long to get to my service on my 2014 2400h. I took it to a dealer in Rome, GA had it serviced and asked about options for some front loader forks. They came out with an option that was cheaper than purchasing the SL100s loader. I went with a new bucket with quick attach adapter to the loader I have and added a set of 42 inch forks. I also had the tires filled to add some weight to the back end. Spent Saturday afternoon with the neighbors kid (helping him learn) installing and teaching him to drive it a little.
I feel this is going to be such a big difference using the tractor. I have not had much opportunity to use the tractor as much as planned, but we now have a 2nd home on 8 acres in NC that will put the tractor to work.
