So does anyone have any ideas how I can turn up the amount of heated air being blown from the heater? The low setting is pretty much the same as "off" and the high setting I can feel just a "breath" of hot air being produced. The fan seems to be working fine, but I don't seem to be getting any air flow. It's plenty hot, just no volume. Any suggestions or other ideas to get some hot air circulating in there?

Maybe your cab air intake vent might be plugged just guessing.

Does it have a cabin filter that may need cleaned/replaced ?

Air intake is clear. On one side it sucks pretty good, on the other it is hard to tell. Everything seems to be working ok.

The heater just draws the cold air from the "attic" of the tractor. There isn't a "cabin filter" that I can tell.

Think I figured it out.... one side of the squirrel cage is bungered up. Who knows how? Wonder where I can get a squirrel cage?

Well, I got sticker shock on pricing a new heater $350+ plus waiting for a couple of weeks. I am hesitating taking the heater apart to check the squirrel cage size (for fear I may not have heat by the next storm- Right now I have a little bit of heat, but not a lot). So I have a question for the DK 45-50 people: how well does the stock fan work to heat the cab? Mine never worked really well, and it barely heated the front windshield. I have no idea how long the squirrel cage has been collapsed.... I am thinking if the heater doesn't work that well in a stock configuration, maybe I ought to look for a (cheaper) aftermarket option which may supply more heat and cost half as much. Fortunately the heater location is pretty spacious, so I could get a bunch of different alternative heaters to work.

And I will still be looking for a cage replacement but honestly have no idea what to even search for. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Does anyone know if I can split the case of my heater while it is in the tractor and attached to the water hoses? I have storms lined up and I don't want to chance messing up my heater right now. It upsets me that I have to buy a $300+ heater because a $2 part is bent. I know I can use my air conditioner, but I'd prefer 90F heat, rather than 70f. It looks like Surplus Center may have a fan that will work, but I need to split the case so I can measure it to be sure. And as a follow up question, why would a fan squirrel cage become all bent up inside a heater box? It makes no sense to me.
