The engine air filters are certainly not something I would skimp on. Have you tried cross referencing the part numbers to fleet guard, Donaldson, etc or another reputable filter maker?

Not the engine air its the cab filters, 4x6x1/2

I have the same filters and no need to replace them. Just wash them thoroughly in warm water with detergent and let air dry. They look just like new after washing.

Will give that a try, thanks

Found something else that wasn't done. Seller said he just changed the fluids, but to make sure I picked up new filters and drained the oil. The oil on the dip stick looked clear but found the oil to be getting dark. Picked up $300 worth of UDT and changed it.

Will remember when looking at another tractor to bring along a white rag. I'll open the fill hole and stick it down into the hole to really see what color the oil is, my learning moment

On my 60 years old John Deere, yes, that's true. It turns black very quickly after an oil change. On my 2016 Kubota, not so much. After several months/100 hours of operation the oil still looks amber color.

Why is that?

In regards to hydraulic fluid. It gets contaminated every time you couple a hydraulic attachment to the tractor.

Agree, same thing can happen each time you add fluid or don't clean off around the dip stick before checking
