But to address the op,
They probably use the flat rate box for everything. Being a frequent Ebay seller, it's kind of a pain weighing and packaging things. Just throwing it in a box and passing the cost on to the buyer is easier.
I'm trying to sell something on ebay for the first time, I have a couple questions if your not busy.

Try putting them on TBN Marketplace first. You never know what a member might want. If you're selling #14 Victors, I'll be first in line.![]()

Shoot. There may be a few. It's no where near as simple as it once was.

It's an old Victor #4 jump trap with teeth, they haven't been made in decades. People really want a stupid price for them, I guess that they make good wall hangers or something. What's #14, that a new improved beaver trap...........I listed my used 550xp chainsaw on ebay, some assembly required.............

I wonder what the "protection plan" is. Are they going to make OldPath refund the buyer's money if the saw doesn't run? :laughing:I took this screenshot of your ad. This is what I see. I'm guessing you chose buyer pays actual cost and it automatically figures the cost to my location registered to my account?View attachment 593537
