72" snow blower and 35 hp?

I get as much snow and clear it with a 72" rear blower. Do you have a gear drive or HST? If gear, how slow is your slowest gear? I only have 8 gear options, slowest speed at PTO rpm is around 1.4mph, and that is an issue on snow more than 8" or so deep, even with 50hp. If you have a creeper gear or HST you could go much slower and the 72" blower might work with 35hp.

I would also consider an angling or V-plow on a pickup truck though, especially for a camp with only occasional access. Blowing the driveway is ideal but could take a long time.

Not sure what that has to do with anything. Other then you grampa didn't k now how to operate or research something before he bought.

Pretty happy with 2120. I know all jap know. But 1980 would have been American still, I would think. So we can blame your grandpa for selling us out.

Didn’t know what that had to do with anything? Did you read your own post on hating Ford 4wd?
1. You didn’t know my grandpa.
2. You don’t know of his tractor knowledge, or the blizzard conditions of that day.
3. You can’t blame him for selling “us” out. Blame our government for that.
4. When you respond to a post, use quote so others know what you are referring to.
5. When you’re old, will you always be on top of your game?
Regards

I am a buy American guy. Yes, I like to think when I am old, I will be just as tight as I am now. I can't imagine taking the loss or screwing dealer ovee by whining about something I bought.

Also I blame us for buying it. Both my trucks are made in indiana. Never drove a Japanese truck.

Some will rationalize by saying made here. Though they probably don't do the research, or want to know if it really was.

But I do it cause I selfish. I live and work in USA.

I can't see a plow working on a camp with occasional access, south Shore of Lake superior region. Unless on something really big. Still need tractor to get through roof snow.

Going to look at moving some trees on one side of driveway.

I am not really blower is worth money or not. We got 300" snow this year and I only go every 2-3 weeks.

If I have to bust it up with bucket, is that any quicker than moving it. Stoll lots of turning around. Unless can go along and smash up long run, and back up and blow

Should watch some YouTube vids.
