Do you happen to have or can you get a 325D (or similar) 4x4 Front axle? If so I have a decent 72" 325D Grounds master Deck...

I've been keeping an eye out in my searches. If I find something. I will let you know

Search on Ebay, Facebook & Craigslist for a junk machine. I posted up I was looking for a deck and got a message this morning from a guy an hour away. When doing something like that. I like to have a parts machine as opposed to just one part. There's always something else I find out that I need.

WTB Toro Groundsmaster deck 1980 to 1999

I am looking for a deck - Model # 30575 for my 1996 Toro 223D I didn't keep up with cleaning and coating the past few years and it is rusted pretty bad. It is still rebuildable if I do not find a replacement

I would buy a whole machine for the deck or to replace what I have.

The following machines used the same deck. Groundsmaster 62, 217D, 220 & 224

My deck is a 72", but I would also be interested in a smaller deck also

He had drug the other machine around without releasing the hydrostat or I would just install a L3E Mitsubishi Engine in it.

I have heard that pulling a Toro without the Hydrostat released ruins the hydrostat?

Am I properly informed that the hydrostat was probably ruined ?

I certainly wouldn't want to mess with the engine and then have to deal with the hydrostat.

It depends on how far and how fast it was dragged around...

I ended up with a 220D Groundsmaster with bad L3C engine. The previous owner tore it apart and got a new mower. A L3E be a drop in replacement. But it has to be a certain number. I haven't figured that part out yet. There are different numbers for generators and certain fixed speed engines.

Are there different Numbers for the L3E's used in Cat, john Deere and other equipment? Tractors Skid loaders, mini hoes?

I ended up with 2 - model 30575 72" decks. I am looking to sell the whole works - both decks and the 220 for $700.

Or I would be up for finding a running machine with a Mitsubishi L3E or a L3E engine

I am also looking for a Model Model #: 30662
62" Side Discharge Mower or Model 30652 - 52" deck - These deck model #'s were listed under accessories for the 220 Pro-Line gas model.

Are these the same decks offered for the 223D or 220D? I am wondering if the gas and diesel decks are the same, but use a different ratio on the gear boxes. Or if they are just the same, gear box and all.

If the diesels use a different ratio gear box, I would need to save one of the gear boxes off one of my Model 30575 decks.

And then there is this for a smaller deck for my 223D I'm not sure what this mower is.

Usually the engine is the same, but the accessories and/or the oilpan are different to fit in the space available.

Hi!

I'm looking at a few Toro machines at an auction this week, I'm really interested in buying one.

I farm and have quite a few acres of grass to cut. I currently more a reasonable area with a John Deere 4 wheel watering diesel unit with a 62" deck (can't remember the tractor model number). I'm looking at a a few Toro units with 72" decks, and there are also a couple with "contour"decks that each have a hydraulic motor on them and move independently. One of them is huge and I probably don't need it, but if it goes cheap I might pick it up. It's a 4500D with diesel engine and 4500 hours but starts up really nice.... If I get that but one I'd use it for some big broad areas, 7-9 acres.

I'm mostly curious if anyone has any thoughts on these contour style decks. Are they any good? Terrible?

Also there are three 72" deck machines, and one is the guardian recycler deck. Is that something special that is worth a premium?

I'll try to attach pictures showing the units in considering.

It is to me. The guardian recycler deck is my favorite of the three decks I use.

And the 328D Traction Unit is 4WD, another plus :thumbsup: .
