I give these fir rounds away around here, too. They make great anvil blocks, esp. if you square them off and epoxy them. My poor Hay-Budden lives outside, and does not look this good anymore.

Sure wish I could find a nice old anvil! Just never see them in this part of the country.

I didn’t think of an epoxy. I just threw a couple of coats of stain on mine. This is my 295 # Peter Wright on an oak round.

You might have said, but how many sq feet do you have in that Big Barn? Or sq meters? How do they measure floor space in Canada anyway?
