I’m not sure if it’s a “getting old” issue or what. Sometimes the simplest things elude me. I already have magnetic strip bars located around the shop for keeping tools organized around benches etc..
But for some reason it was only yesterday it occurred to me to use these small round magnets for storing individual tools used for frequent adjustment on stationary tools. (Already had the magnets on hand which makes it even MORE bewildering.)
I’ll put a spot of glue on each magnet when I’m certain I like the location.
For sure on the magnets. Have used them often, even to hold the jack handler on the picker. They seem to be made to close tolerances, have used them for spacers on the lathe chuck.

I’ve been using the small rectangular magnets on my drill presses to keep the chuck keys handy. Depending on where you mount them they’re prone to attracting swarm though. I don’t personally like attaching them to cables or light chain.
