Can I impose upon you Asteral to seek intel on Branson parts from your contact in Branson? I can't believe that Branson would set up production to make their own filters but other members have said that the hydraulic filters, for example, are Branson specific (something to do with bypass valves). Here in Oz their is only one (yes 1) Branson vendor and, as a result, filters cost 50% to 100% more than in the States...I have found Donaldson (and other brands) air filters that suit the Branson but the oil\fuel\hydro\HST filters are all Branson labelled (in Korean) and no one has found their part numbers in any of the cross check cataloges. If your contact has generic part numbers it would really help us poor cousins Down Under.
Cheers,
Greg

I can ask him next time i speak to him i do know that for the older 20 series there is a wix crossover and i believe these are still the numbers for that,
air inner - 46489
air outer - 46490
engine - 51334
fuel - 33263
as for the main line hydraulic filter the only cross over number i could find here at my work was this one for a luber-finer filter - part# LFH4922 and this crosses over to this part # for donaldson P569383

Thanks Asteral, appreciated. The 6225h lists these Branson part numbers (air filter I have sorted...common type across multiple brands of tractor):
EA00001160B ELEMENT, LUBE OIL FILTER
TA00043153A FILTER, HST OIL
TA00025525B FILTER HYD OIL (20R/20C SERIES)
EA00005318A FUEL FILTER

This is Awesome! I definitely agree that it needs to be pinned to the top of the Forum here. I'm a month out from buying my Branson and not sure if I'm going with the 47 or 55 HP one. Going to check prices next week and start narrowing down the attachments.

Not to hijack, but the 5220r (55 hp, shuttle shift) is a awesome tractor! Mowing 6 ft grass with a 78ā€ flail mower, the tractor lost about 50 rpms. The power and grunt are awesome. It needs to have the rear tires loaded, and I would suggest AG tires over the R4 industrial options. I have R4 and wish I had the grip of the AG options.

Get a canopy to keep you out of the sun. I am pleased.

Nice! Thanks for all the manuals Asteral!

This thread should definitely be fixed on top. Anyone know a moderator?

I think I can add some more stuff to this, like parts manuals and operators.

You might try running the rears at a lower pressure. On my 3725 about 16 psi is low enough to get the bars on the ground all the way across the tire. They came from the dealer (and after adding Rimguard) at more like 25. It's not a huge difference but its noticeable.

Actually looking to get a Cab on either one we choose, but its looking more like the 5220CH. I could go either way with the Hydrostatic or Shuttle Shift and want to test out both. I have a sawmill, so about half the time will be used loading logs, and lifting lumber. From what I've read and heard, tire fill is a must, so will plan on having that. I'm awaiting my GATE card to arrive in the mail so it makes the purchase tax free. Hope to get out to the dealership next week to test drive some.

Chris, I have the 4720CH and the only issue I have with hydrostatic is the whine noise level. Due to the convenience of hydro, I would still choose it over geared. You will notice the whine more in a cab version than open station, and primarily when loading the tractor.

I have attached a video of me mowing the front field, you can hear the whine at low load 2400RPM. Give me a shout if you have any questions.

This is great! Thanks for the link! I really think the Hydrostatic is the way I'm going to go. Lots of back and forth, FEL work, fork work and so on. I do have about 7 acres of pasture that will be bush hogged once a month or so, but its mostly around trees and lots of twisting and turning. Regardless, I want to drive both a bit first and see what I feel. Definitely getting the cab. I will hit you up as I'm getting closer. Looking like the beginning to middle of September. I'm anxious, but need to wait a bit.

I looked up my 4720ch air filter on Amazon using the name (Donaldson) and numbers (P822768 & P822769) and found them for a lot less than what Branson wants.
