Now your steeling, my rants and ramblings.

I have the floor lever and Warn hubs on my 99 F250. They may have to pry my cold dead right hand off my floor lever being that I am not sure they make them any more in a new truck :confused3:

If they do offer it in anything new it would be in an HD model, but I can't say I've even looked. My bank account says I won't be buying one of those anytime soon.

Believe just about any truck made in the last few years this is gone. Dodge was a hold out for a while, and there might be some work truck variants. In general give it a few more years these things are gone unless you want to drive around a 30 year old truck.

I dont use my truck for work purposes but I do live where we get 150in of snow each year, I can tell you after owning about 6-7 trucks in the last 12 years or so, Ive never had a problem with the selector knob in any of them.

many are drive by wire on about everything from the throttle to the gear selector some are just a knob or button like the old plymouths with push button on the dash lol

Chevy also thinks actors are not real people...
I like the youtube spoofs of the real people commercials.

A company I know is pissed because they can't take the tailgate off their new GMC truck to put on a delivery tailgate.

I will pass that along. Thanks.

I imagine the new Jeep truck still uses a manual lever for engaging 4wd.

The new F 150 D get 30 hyway and 25 city. That is very attractive to me and it can tow 11500. I don't often need to haul more than that it also has a 2,000 pound payload. Not sure what the GCVWR is
The drawback with D is the increased cost of maintenence and initial cost over a gasser

Late to this thread but a couple months ago I rented a F150 for a week while we were working in Florida. Basic crew cab, 4x2 with the basic non eco boost 6 cyl. Put about 1,000 miles on it in a week ....plenty of power for what it was.. no rocket ship but not a slug either. I drive pretty conservative and maybe 70-75 on the highway..we were seeing 22-23 mpg on average...nowhere near 30mpg.
We also had nothing in tow and maybe 2-300 lbs of cargo at most.
