I do not know what they are going to do. The dealer is extremely busy and who knows when they will fix mine. I did have a good laugh when I was told that one injector was firing 50% more fuel but that they didn't think that this was a problem to cause my DPF failures. My luck they will pull the injector apart and try to fix it. It should be replaced. There was mention that my Baldwin filter might not be good enough to filter the fuel properly. I spoke with Baldwin today. That filter that I am using has a better rating than the Kioti filter.

Wow, that’s a shame, sounds like they are trying to point fingers instead of working on a solution. If I remember right mine threw a code that reflected a injector issue and was smoking when first started in temps below about 70. One thing I was a bit aggravated about was the fact only the dealer can change the injectors because the ecm has to be reprogrammed with the identification number on the new injector.

Yup, so right, looking for an escape route. Tried blaming welding on the previous dealer on the mirror brackets. Kioti warranty shows two mirror brackets replaced at the selling dealership. I heard about the injectors needing to be programmed. I do recall some white puffing on startup in colder weather in the Spring. I thought it might be condensation as I didn't smell anything. I had forgotten all abut it until you mentioned it. That is probably the bad injector. Were all 3 of yours bad?

Not all the injectors were showing issues but they replaced them. I had seen a few posts back a couple years ago that others having issues had gotten there’s replace while under warranty also, I’m guessing they knew they had issues with them, also at one point in the production line the injectors are different now.

Anybody who would like to work on their own equipment or electronics should follow the link below, click on their state and write a note to your local state legislators to support the right to repair in your state. I had seen a few posts back a couple years ago that others having issues had gotten there’s replace while under warranty also, I’m guessing they knew they had issues with them, also at one point in the production line the injectors are different now.

I was told that mine has an early model injection pump and early model injectors. I think that is the problem here also. Why else would they upgrade to a newer style if the older ones worked fine.

I have already done that. These OBDII systems should be able to be read by the owners and cleared by the owners when there is a code.

Totally agree. I can see where the industry is headed, and I don't like it one bit. I imagine we'll wind up doing what the JD people are doing....hacking our tractors so we can repair them. That is, unless laws change or the industry changes.
