I have that basket also. Had on the backside of the ROPS. It was in the way when I went to use the 3 point. So I moved it to the side using different braces and resting it on the fender. Its great. Love it. Use it all the time. Just don't care for it where it was designed to go.
California the golf bag is a great idea!! I think I know what I'm gonna do.
Here's the post that Jtullis referenced. I use lots of Goodwill stuff repurposed to carry tools on the tractors. $10??? ... $5 is my upper limit for junk like this. When stopping in at the Goodwill or Salvation Army stores, these bags are there for under $10. Sure, they are a bit worn, but not too bad for a portable ROPS sack.California the golf bag is a great idea!! I think I know what I'm gonna do.

No. The tractors are never out in rain, almost never outdoors overnight.
Hey, did you put any drain holes in the bottom of the bags with a plastic grommet should it rain?
Figured I would jump in as well.....after researching a number of options, this worked well for me:

Nice pix resolution. The box is a Husky. Looks durable and it should keep rain out. I do like the clasps on the box as vibration could be an issue. Plus, a good closed box will keep our tiny critters making a nest inside.
For the fire-extinguisher, is that held on with velco straps ????

Thanks. It stays bone dry and the clasp has never loosened up. The extinguisher mount does have Velcro straps and has worked well for a number of years now. It is actually sold as a holder for a JEEP, but also fits the ROPS nicely.
I also have a "Woodsman's Pal" mounted on the ROPS. Very handy for when the need arises to take care of a small limb, brush, sapling, etc.... (pic from when they were mounted on my old tractor)

I welded a pc of 2x2 angle between the uprights of the ROPS and mounted a tool box on the angle.

Had no idea what a "woodsman's pal" so I looked one up on Amazon!! WOW that's a lot of money for something that just sits on the rops.

If you look up what a "woodsman pal " is it's a brand with that fancy wood handle and some short looking shaped machete. But same basic tool. The $5 works as well. I have some combi tool thing that's like machete and hatchet I got free I could do the same withI got one for $4 at H-F.
18 in. Machete with Serrated Blade
It's come in handy a bunch of times already. Whack things or use the serrated blade like a saw, it does well.
