Well, not so fast. It took all day to get the 12 foot round rail installed. I was by myself. I had to add a 10 foot 2x4 shim and a 2x8 backup board to catch all the bolt holes for the rail. Thank GOD for the sawmill. It saves a lot of trips to Lowes.Gonna be a great addition to your building!!!! Added 30% or so??
Both ends of the rail's mount holes caught the posts, so they were 6 inch 3/8 lag bolts. As the photos show, I had to fight 3 electrical conduits to get the rail mounted.
I also had to deal with the existing 2x6 that had a bad bow in it. That took the big clamps to tame.
