I was explaining the difference between an avatar and a picture...sorry if you didn't get it...

You were trying to take a dig at me. I understand. I hurt your feelings by calling you naive. I had no intention of doing that. I simply described your behavior. Your attempts to fight back just make it worse.

How about a truce? I won't call you naive anymore. You won't be condescending.

You are so confused and mistaken...I assure you...you did not hurt my feelings...just the opposite, it made me laugh out loud (it was like calling the potus humble)...that's why I questioned your understanding of the word...

I was not trying to "take a dig" at you...I was merely explaining that photographs are not really avatars...if you go back and look I was not necessarily addressing the post to anyone in particular...it is a common misconception among TBN members...

So once again I will try to explain it...Think of an avatar the same as a game marker (like the car in Monopoly) they represent a player...

Above I said photographs are not really avatars but many avatars start with basic images or portraits etc...most get morphed into more of a caricature type image...

In the theme of the thread and things to do...There are lots of different "avatar apps" out there likewise for tutorials for popular image editors (GIMP, PhotoShop etc.) there are apps for phones on all platforms...most are free...

hey, buddy how are things going out your way? Things are fairly locked down here in Branson. Nothing but essentials. We have at least one known case. I have been down with something upper respiratory for 5 days now. Other than the world going to "heck" in a basket, all is well :) Hope you are doing fine.

Oh we are locked down. Wife and I are doing fine. Just frustrating we couldn't travel to Bend, Oregon to be with my son and wife and my first grandchild born Friday. Never wrestled myself before like this... with the desire to say what the **** and jump in the car this past weekend and go see my son and granddaughter!

Edit: In this case I think TBN should have let H E double hockey sticks stand! :smiley_aafz:

Well at least we have this medium to communicate with folks, and of course the phone. I have my radio to go to If I get too bored over here. :)
