By the way is there something you can put on the underside of a mower that helps prevent the clippings from sticking? Cleaning that thing was a *****.

Moved a little bit of wet heavy snow this morning the dusting to 3 maybe 4" ended up at over 6"of wet heavy snow on top of a thawed driveway
Ended up using the bucket set almost flat actually tipped back just a touch and pushing it off only got a couple of gouges in the gravel.

Interesting. Please let us know if it helps.

If I get it I'll give it a review. If I do get it I'll clean the bottom of the mower off really well before I apply it. Right now there's still some hangers on and whatnot underneath there even though I cleaned it. Regardless I should be more careful about when I cut, too.

On my snow plow I sometimes use PAM kitchen non-stick stuff when the snow is wet and sticky. Seems to work for a while till it wears off. Wonder if that would work on a mower? Probably depends on what you are mowing too. If you can hold off mowing when the stuff you are mowing is wet would seemingly help a lot. I never get any build-up on my bush hog, but my riding lawn mower gets considerable build up.

How many hours on it now?

I've noticed some power increase on mine as the hours accumulate. There is a road with a decent hill that I drove with the tractor with about 15 hours on the clock, that road would require me to down shift to 3rd. Now at 190 hours, I can easily do it in 4th even with the extra weight of the loader that I hadn't before.

26hrs now. It has rained so much I haven't had much opportunity to use it without making a mess. Forecast calling for rain starting tonight through next weekend. And being a manufacturer of disinfectants with Coronavirus claims has caused some late nights and 7 day work weeks. Even with that, we have so many customers closed I am having to reduce pay and do layoffs. Definitely not fun!

Today a bit of time in the tractor on the driveway, the weather guessers are calling for rain possibly heavy.
With the driveway already washed and rutted a bit from spring thaws and rains mounted my "fang" on the loader and put a bunch of little ditches diagonally across and down hill on the driveway about a dozen or so of them.water cuts 2.jpgwater cuts 3.jpgwater cuts 1.jpgfang 2.jpgfang 1.jpg

Thursday and Fridays it was Kawaski Mule time for me.
we moved about 60 cow calf pairs from one of the winter lots over to one of the freshening (spring) lots on Thursday and the sorted out the calves Friday to separate and wean them so the brood cows can get ready for this years calves. Most of the time our mixed bunches move pretty well, short them just a bit on feed one day then start calling them and once you get some moving the herd instinct takes over and only a few stragglers have to be herded to the right lots.
