New to me KX033-4

I've been shopping for an excavator for quite a while and finally found what appears to be the right one for me. A Kubota KX033-4.

It has 536 hours on it and is in pretty good shape. However it is missing the grease gun that came with it and was stored under the seat.

I'm wondering what that grease gun was like. Anyone have a pic of a kubota KX grease gun. I suppose I can order them from Kubota but I have not checked. I would like help with grease points to be sure I do not miss any.

Tips on safe operation would also be appreciated. I live in SE Ohio, very hilly terrain.

Its probably just a regular grease gun but ORANGE in color, Nice machine...:thumbsup:

My U35 purchased new has the bracket under the seat too. No grease gun from Kubota... just a spot for your own.
Or maybe dealers collect them.:laughing:

That's a nice machine. I bought my KX brand new, and while it has the spot for a grease gun, it didn't come with one from the factory.

I'm looking at how you chained that down on the trailer..did you wrap the chain around the track in the rear ?

Thanks for the replies. I read the user manual and thought it implied one came with the machine. Oops. now I know for sure that is not the case. Thanks again.

Yes. Plus after the pic above was taken we moved one of the chains and added a heavy duty strap was added to the set up. No issues towing it home.

I have a KX121... never thought of wrapping a chain there. Have to see if it is possible on mine.

Nice machine. If you want a Kubota grease gun I bought one from my dealer because my name brand Lincoln was crap and always a headache and I happened to see one while getting some filters. The Kubota one was 30 bucks Canadian, made in China probably, but the most reliable hand gun I have ever used.

I wasn't sure how to best tie it down. The ole feller I bought it from suggested that and I took his advice. Worked great.

Thanks. I was frustrated with my cheap grease gun so I splurged and bought an Old Milwaukee ...Milwaukee 2646-20 M18 2-Spd Grease Gun Bare Tool. Since I have collected quite a few M18 tools and already have the batteries and charger it seemed like a good way to go. Reviews on amazon were impressive.
