I'm thinking I'm gonna mow with the massey this year, so I reinstalled the seat safety switch. It took some doing with the new seat. I had to bend the switch bracket this and that way to get the angle right, which also required me to bust out the angle grinder to cut off the corner edge off the bracket so that it would clear the what it needed to clear. After that, fine tuning...I want that switch working only when my butt is fully off the seat as opposed to when bouncing around with bumps.

With the forecast looking warmer I took off my front blower and put on the fel. I put my ratchet rake on and cleaned some ditches.

Have I doomed myself? Possibly but I left my rear blade and chains on just to be sure.

After I took my chain off, we got a 3" snow storm, not bad but yesterdays high was 20 degrees F and this mornings low was 7 degrees F,

Oh, but it's "Springtime" and that rodent groundhog wasn't thinking about where I live.

Gene, what prompted you to reinstall the seat safety switch, which is a good thing.

KC, I'm thinking to use it's mmm this year, want that pto to shut off just in case I take a spill.

Would be nice if I could figure out how to disable the engine kill switch while keeping the pto kill switch intact. Anybody do that?

I fixed my PSI relief valve back to spec. It had faded over time from use and I was down about 200psi

Finally got the skid plate on-shout out to Louisiana Tractor works for the idea.
Of course it's raining now.....Will need to wait to do the clearing.

Don't forget to protect that hydraulic filter, that will kill your tractor faster than a broken hydraulic fan...
