This is a crime drama about LA homicide detective Harry Bosch...a character from the book series by Michael Connelly...
The series is superbly written and acted...it's great entertainment if you like detective stories or familiar with Michael Connelly...

Excellent... wife was just mentioning where is Bosch?
That series was one of my favorites, (book, I didn't realize they had made it into a movie) although the last one that I read was just after he retired. I will have to join Prime for a while just to check it out.
As per grocery stores; the only thing that I could buy within an 8 mile radius is maple syrup and eggs... instead I get both of those from my own property. I have to go at least 18 miles in any direction for gas and any type of fresh groceries, although there is a small convenience store about 9 miles away that sells beer and junk food.

All 6 seasons are available for streaming on Amazon...They (with Michael Connelly's approval) updated the character a little to meet the times...instead of having served in Vietnam as a "tunnel rat" (small guy)...the character played by Titus Welliver served in the Gulf...
...Connelly has a hand in the writing/production of the series which makes it that much better...

Just watched the first two episodes. I have been a fan of Connelly's since the mid 90's. Great writer, and you will never find deeper character's.
