Thats just it, they were. Cement guy screwed up.

You didn't have an under slab, or pre slab inspection? That should have been caught right there and then.

Ok, that痴 a major screw up by the foundation guy. There should have been footers poured under the column locations before the slab was poured. My foundation guy poured footers under my columns, not the slab guy.

We are getting up there when we are able. Pushing hard when we have the chance. It fee slow but it still pushes forward.

I just noticed this last part. No, its not the moon, just another cloud , catching the light a little different.

It would be my goal to catch that scene again after the house is done!!!! After we live somewhere awhile we forget what it looked like when we started. In your case gigantic scenery changes have taken place.

Thanks ovrszd. I keep trying to remind myself to take lots of pictures. But I tend to get busy and forget.

This is from last weekend. I was on call and put in almost 70 hrs on my regular job. But we still made it to the buildsite.

We put up two posts today. Tomorrow I expect to get the back wall completed.
We are almost there. I cant wait to get moving on the beams.

Also. I think it was Buckeye who asked how we were finishing the concrete. My wife wants to stain it. I don’t. I would like to just clean it well and wax it. Or epoxy it. I prefer wax because it is easier to remove and reapply. For a family, it isnt something you have to do on a regular basis. I dont mind the floor showing Wear. I like the way a cement floor looks after a few years when the aggregate shows thru some worn spots. We have a couple nice rugs that will be down and I am certain my wife will buy others. There are a lot of options.
