More snow and ice.

Footer for a pier in the back. My electric lines come in under neigh so I bridges over with a small enclosed deck, for the entrance to the garage basement.

Bottom of picture is deck outside the basement steps. I ended up enclosing this and made the entrance to basement where the osb is standing.


New door to garage got installed in this opening.

Had 3 geo loops in and digging the 4th trench. As I dug I put layer of good topsoil on previous loop, rest of top soil in between the trenches, and fill went in the previous trench.

I always wanted to put a geo loop on the beach. I figure the saltwater connected to the Pacific Ocean would be a heckava heat sink. Bureaucrats do not think so.

Neighbor is building new house using geothermal wells. 4, 180ft deep. Drilled thru 90ft of bedrock. I didn't ask cost....

Trenches would have been a LOT cheaper...

If you have the area, slinkies are a lot cheaper to install. If you have a pond, sinking the loop in the pond is great. My slinkies are 65ft long, 3 ft wide. 500 ft of pipe, plus 100 Ft in and out for a total of 700 ft per loop. I have 5 loops, 2 for a 2 ton unit, 3 for a 3 ton unit.
