Most kayaks have a white bottom, nonetheless, there is enough shavings along this 1/2 mile portage to built a new kayak. Most of the summer portages would be canoes not K's. A clue was give in my photo description.

So snow sled? I'd hate to think somebodies skies.

You got it Rolf!! All the rocks along that 1/2 a mile has blue from the dog sled runners.

That was a tough one to figure out but Rolf was among the mushers and there sleds some years ago... I just couldn't beileve how much plastic here from them..

Doesn't look like a "scraping". Those are from someone drilling plastic.
I can't tell you why they'd do that there, but...

My guess was snowmobiles or quads also using the portage to move from lake to lake towing ice shanties or loaded sleds over sharp rocks. Well, it wasn't from bicycles.
