Good morning!!!!

Good morning! Cloudy, 58˚F. Took the above pic during our walk yesterday. Since I can't compete with Ron in the quality category I had to make up a category - "Pics That Rhyme".

I got a chuckle out of this story - panic buying affecting Austin. Only a headline to grab attention. In the story all gas stations have fuel, but I bet today there will be lines. Close call Wngsprd.

RNG, I'm having the same problem with AT&T - on the phone for hours just to get transferred the another person that offers no help. So Today I'm going to the AT&T store at least I'll be able to see the person.
I filled up with gas at Buc-ee's in Denton this morning. No sign of a shortage, BUT I paid $2.899 a gallon for regular which is the most I've paid for gas in the last 4 years. And Buc-ee's is usually cheapest around.

65°F and .52 inches rain.

PO run this morning and off to get a haircut.

Slow progress in the caretaker unit, progress is progress.

Hand and Foot this afternoon. Sophie made stuffed cabbage but with turkey and chicken as Diane doesn’t eat beef or pork. Have to say it smells really good.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Prices around here have remained fairly steady over the last few weeks. In Illinois, they're gouging us for $3.199/gal. Just across the river in Missouri, they're getting $2.679/gal. ... 52¢/gal cheaper!

I don't think anywhere outside that part of the east coast is experiencing any shortages. I also saw a story that says the petroleum company has turned the spigot back on today.

A few days ago, I went to pay one of my credit card bills and discovered a T-Mobile charge for more than $150.00. I have nothing to do with T-Mobile and have no idea how such a charge got on there. I first tried calling T-Mobile to see if they could tell me anything, but I never even succeeded in finding a way to talk to a human. But when I called the credit card folks, that charge was removed with no questions.
I hope that's the end of it for you, Bird.

I just got off the phone with one of their reps that said he was in the President's Office. He got an ear full, but did make an effort to apologize for my troubles. He also made another set of promises that so far, at least, have been pretty empty.

42 and clear looking for 70 today.

Good news on your wife, Mostly.

Ron, I need to mow, too. and change my wife's vehicle oil.

Got my wife’s pilot oil changed last Saturday. Did my Subaru a week before. Son took his in for oil change yesterday. Truck is close to due. ZT should be ok, tractors are good.

They also keep referring to the Metroliner as a jet. It's a turboprop.

He calls it a flying sewerpipe. We used to call them executive mailing tubes, or death tubes, because the stretched versions had a negative rate of climb if they lost an engine when fully loaded.

Good morning all! ;)

Good thing you popped that “Good morning” in there.

worked outside on a nice day and fixed the outdoor picnic bench, one side of which had broken. I overlayed with cedar and then put a coat of spar
varnish on it. One more coat tomorrow and I'm done. Now no more splinters in the butt.

Looking at my cc Bill last night and saw a charge I didn’t recognize, so got the wife involved. Turns out it was 3 plants she had me order to the tune of $45. I started complaining about the price, and she reminded me that I buy stuff also. And I said, but I only buy $30k tractors, not $45 for 3 flowers.
And still didn’t have to sleep in doghouse. That was after finding a $28 charge for pillows from Amazon that she had my son order on my card.

Some airplane story, wow. Cool video, even if moss did find some inaccuracies. And the kid on his first solo as witness.

Wife had to go to 2 stations to find gas yesterday. Son didn’t get any. I’m working from home today, and probably tomorrow to save gas. Gasbuddy showing a few stations out.

Yeah, that kid doing his solo... and seeing that. And then being helpful to boot. Kudos to him. (y)

Did they give you a new card? I’d be a little afraid someone had your number and was trying a test case to see if they could do more buying on your card.

It happened to me a few weeks ago. I got a new card with new numbers.
