So i figured out my power steering!
Started working this morning moving dirt, heard a big pop and a shower of hydraulic fluid all over me lol. Blew a line right off at the steering wheel. After that notice a steady stream of fluid coming from the left side cylinder seal as well. Decided to pull all 4 lines and the rack to go get rebuilt. Had to drop the front axle to get the rack out. Too easy with a Ryobi 1/2 inch impact

Hopefully! From what ive seen so far the previous owner did absolutely zero maintenance. So who know what else is next. I wish the front loader moved faster though. Has anyone put a higher flow pump on? Or even a newer model pump maybe? I think these flow 8.5 gpm but not sure.

Another note! Where the hell do you get headlights for these old things?

Glad to see you "found" the problem.

:(

Sounds like you're going to be up and running soon. Congrats on getting the steering rack apart in the field in less than a day.

As far as headlights, do you need the whole light, or just a new bulb?

The only time I've needed one, it was just the bulb, and I was able to locate the replacement at my local Napa store.

This is the one for the factory cab work lights, but it was a "common" bulb they had on the shelf.

It won't be the same one you need for a headlight, but take your bulb into the store and they can match it up. That's what I did.

I will double check but when I looked, it looks like the old cars. The bulb is apart of the whole assembly glass and all. I will see if the plug part twist out.

even on the older models the bulb socket should twist out the back and allow you to change out just the bulb
