I am considering getting two pair of heavy cable connectors and making a short, removable jumper in the middle of the battery cables, since these things have universal keys…

That’s interesting, the KX057-5 has a touchscreen with a Lock Screen like a smartphone rather than a physical key.
My L6060 has a generic key, as did the previous Kubotas that I have had.

The shed has a concrete floor!
Nothing is ever simple…
Plenty of head room here

I haven’t read the manual yet, maybe it does? But there is a physical key…

I think in terms of brute force solutions, not ones&zeroes.

snuck out before the rains started and got the lawn mowed. Otherwise three days from now when the rain stops it would have been a wet jungle.
grass was still pretty wet from dew.

new willow tree in far right corner given to me by next door neighbor seems happy, I've been watering it weekly and it will get a nice drink from this passing system.

Used my new all metal jerry can to fill up the mower, first time I had used it.
Definitely heavier, which is not good for me, but gosh it worked flawlessly, gas came out faster than on plastic cans, even with the gizmo on the end
which had to be depressed to let the gas out. Have constant problems with typical plastic cans where cap misthreads, and those plastic toothed bits you have to push in always seem to get stuck or not cooperate. Metal can was a joy. oem NATO.

Those toothed plastic bits succumb quite easily to wire cutters… just sayin’…

Just skimmed and did not see anything about the screen except infographics. I did ask the salesman about any theft prevention features and he just smiled…

over the last forty years at least since my landlord has owned this rental cottage, am quite sure no one has paid much attention to lawn.
A potpourri of invasive species, some of which flower nicely but have choked out the lawn. But now in the rear center, there is this light green super lush
grass area, where it stays the wettest. I didn't put anything on it other than grub control. Of course, the grubs eat the roots of the grass, making it weak and thin, so
maybe this nicer lawn is a sign the grass is coming back because the grubs are reduced. Wouldn't that be nice.
I put a little weed and feed closer to the house, the darker green area.
2.50 cut height; I'd go a quarter lower if it didn't clump up so much. With grass growing it seems an inch a day,
wait too long and you've got too much stuff to get rid of. I could put the bagger back on, but I'd really like to recycle the clippings.

I'm in the relatively lower rent area of a very wealthy country suburb, and only a few of us still mow our own lawns. Most hire services.
But my neighbor across the street and I both have our JD's, and we wave at each other.
I simply enjoy mowing, particularly on a cooler day like today when I don't have to wear a hat due to heavy cloud cover.
Am thinking of adding a small trim mower to my collection. Particularly around the flower gardens near the house and the front door, I'd like to mow that a little lower.
Be able to give that area an "in between" mow without doing the whole place. And it would make me walk.
Pretty sure EGO is still best choice. I need self propelled. Need to research Makita, since I have the batteries already.

house vacuumed, now mop and glo the kitchen floor. I mop my way back to the office and then go back online until it dries.

need a little something special for your wife for her birthday?
I'm thinking of David, since Sophie has her own tractor now, and what could top that...
well a little bauble from this collection would be nice.

we could all chip in......................

Morning all, say going up to 53, currently 54 and getting ready to rain.
Day off work to relax, will go pick up lunch later.
Did get some wood split and the gazebo cleaned out.

KJC - congrats on the new ride

Son made National English honor roll, some kind of induction next week for us to attend.

To lazy to do much today.

I let my lawn go somewhat natural, no chemicals, fertilizers etc. Just Mow and go.

Dog approved
