Druggies got first vehicle arrival about 15 minutes ago, with attendant audible activities. Yay.

Good Morning
It’s 52 and supposed to gain about 20 degrees under cloudless skies today.

Yesterday was a good day, tinkered in the shop, got my tail wheel taken care of, cleaned up a bit, wife and I went to lunch with son and his family.
We then measured for the next fence repair looks like I’ve got just short of 700 feet of woven wire fabric to replace on this phase. The posts all seem pretty decent, but the wire is in awful condition. The worst part of the job will be pulling out all the staples on the old fence.
I see that Milwaukee now has an M18 cordless fence stapler that should make putting the new wire up easy once it’s stretched. Of course I don’t have any M18 tools, but I also see that I can get an adapter to use my Makita batteries.

Put some flagstone under and around the bench at the pond, and let grandson spray the Toro Workman with the foam cannon on the pressure washer, he thought that was really fun. Cleaned up and put everything away, and called it a day.

Today we have to drop a plane off at the Citation Service Center in Stewart, NY, I’m going to fly a little plane to pick them up, it’s less than a hundred mile trip so it shouldn’t take very long, except driving back and forth to the airport. Zoe has school this evening, be interesting to see how that goes.

my do nothing day got busier...
off to local nursery looking for flowers, always a fun time, then this afternoon swapping cars with my brother's M850 and
picking up my non walking friend and we are off to Costco. We will both shoehorn ourselves in that low roof car, then he will get
an ev cart to drive when we get there. Just an excuse to get out on a very nice day, and I need to stock up large portion frozen stuff for my basement
freezer. It's looking a bit empty...

sure is nice being retired. Though I'm guessing most of us are more active in retirement than many folks are earlier in life.
We all have a lot of hobbies, and due to tractor connection, are "grounded" in common ways.

Bird, hope you are doing ok. Keep checking in so that we know the State of Texas is doing ok.

The residence across the street that has drug-dealing nitwits began their day with the first vehicle showing up way too early, and making unnecessary noise when I really want to stay abed for two more hours. Hence my early posting three days in a row…
