The tire shop said they had that size tire, but it was in straight ag pattern. I told the guy I only have 100 hrs on it and I will wait for it.
When I ordered my tractor in '22 there were two holdups: the FEL, and these Goodyears.

Yeah when I was shopping I got the sorry, don’t know when or if we will get any large tractors with the 14s. Might need to find a set for my tc45 if it lives that long to kill the new R4s I put on. The last pair made it 5000 hours.

That's what I am thinking. These tires will take forever to wear out.
Now if I can just make sure not to hit any more hidden stumps. This split stump was shaped like an ax head with the blade pointing up.

One good thing about dull rounded over blades on a brush hog, it doesn't leave near as many sharp stumps as instead of slicing them off it breaks them up and shatters them more.

Well, got the word from the tire dealer that Goodyears says tire on backorder and expected date is end of June.
They offered me a "loaner tire" and then also said they were sending it to another repair facility to see if they can vulcanize it.
I just had some skin cancer cut off yesterday and have stitches for the next two weeks. I told him it was nice to offer the "loaner tire" but I am down myself, so I would wait and if they can fix my tire, all the better.

I guess it just depended on dealer location. When I bought my 573 all they offered were the R14's. Said that's the way they shipped them. I hope they last as long as the R-4's I have on my little NH.

Goodyear is pushing the R-14's. Seems crazy not to have them in stock rather than "back ordered".
I'm interested to see if the other repair facility can fix the tire and the repair cost. Sorry this happened to you.

I wouldn't do that.

But I'd be curious to see if the stump grinder could be mounted up front somehow. Might be easier to operate and move.

@TimberFarm 16mm, 5 wall Hurricane rated Polycarbonate panels, I'm replacing the OSB panels I've had for 14 years with clear poly, much lighter, stronger and lets light in, my wife wasn't thrilled with total darkness, but I sure liked it, and the weight saving sure will be nice. Not getting any younger for some reason! lol

Was able to get really large sheets, so I can cover our slider and a very large front window with single panels, something I had to piece together with wood before. Will be a nice improvement.

Also new poly panels for her greenhouse in there.

OK, stop keeping us in suspense...What's in the crate?
BTW, I have been keeping my eye open for somebody selling 10' fork extensions for the right price so I can move my shed.
How big is your shed ? I couldn’t lift my 12x20 but a inch or two on a end. I had some large angle iron that I used to make skis. Then I pulled it off the location , did everything I needed and towed it back into its new spot.

It's nothing like that. It's only 9x16.

That's some pretty impressive stuff.

This was last month, enjoying the first real run of the offset flail mower. Trying to get the thistles mowed before they go to seed.

Currently installing a new electrical service. Had about 20 feet of pretty hard digging with the small backhoe.

Really need to get this Quick Hitch off the table. I guess no one wants these, as my for sale post gets nothing.

Rolled over 600 hours just a bit shy of 6 years.

Running pretty hot and heavy the last couple of days. Neighbor moved away some years ago. They've been keeping the property up fairly well until the last 2 or 3 years. Had health issues I guess, and let it go. Relative would come by once a year and cut it off, but leave it rough. When I saw them doing it a few days ago, I suggested I could help keep it mowed. Guy said fine, no problem, but they might be putting some cows on it so if I saw cows, don't bother.

Decided to jump on it and have been mowing the rough stuff down to something less rough. They cut the 4' tall stuff to 6-8" and I've been taking that down to 3-4". LOTS of chaff that's been getting everywhere, so I've had to stop several times to clear the screen and even blow the radiator out with an air hose.

But it's getting there. Will probably leave it now until next week and see if the weather cools off a bit.

Speaking of tires...backed over an old split cherry or mimosa stump this afternoon when clearing for the power company to set their poles.
This is the result. Antifreeze spraying everywhere. I thought i blew a hose until the tractor leaned way over on that side. Good thing I wasn't on a side slope. Back tire on MT573.
Well, here we are $2100 later, finally.

Ouch.
Love the tread pattern on those tires though! Least it's fixed and you're back up and running.

@TimberFarm is that $2100 for one tire? Damn!
Sure is.
I haven't received the itemized bill yet.
They came out initially to see if they could fix the tire. I couldn't tell why the tire went flat. I thought maybe the bead just broke. Then they took it to see if it could be vulcanized, but no dice.
So, it was two trips, the tire, and filling with antifreeze.
What was interesting was they tried to get some kind of warranty from Goodyear. But Goodyear told them the tire was too old. Manufacture date 2021.
