Pushing over what our plows guys leave. They can't fit their wider plows here so I push them in.

I got my snow plow push frame revamped today AND HD springs added to the front struts. We don't have much snow in the forecast for Saturday but I might get out and test it anyway..

What did you do to revamp it?

Been working on the plow setup today and about to add a shovel peg to the 6x6's box, but I ran out of time. NOAA says we'll see a few inches of new snow overnight so I'm heading out to groom in the am. On Friday the shop added new front strut springs which are sure stiffer than the OEM ones. I seen a 1/2 drop lifting this 225lb plow. Did test modestly test the "new" plow setup and liked the results. Will post more on Sunday.

I get that you have stiffer springs, and supposedly have improved the rigidity of the mount. Are you confident that you will not have an issue with snow build up on top of the mount?

No structural reinforcement? Still have the potential for snow buildup between the frame and the ATV? How will it not bend again?

I'm going to purchase some 2" square tubing in the spring and build it right.
I hope you take pics and share with the manufacturer so they can fix the flawed design of their mount.
I hope they gave you a break on the cost for replacement.

When I used to ride big 4 wheelers in the mud, it seemed like CV axles were consumable parts. At that time there were several aftermarket axle manufacturers that made a better axle for less than the stock unit. Seems like Rhino axles was a brand that was popular. You *may be able to get grease back in that and the boot back on. But you might think about getting you a spare to have on hand. They are easy, if time consuming, to replace.

Its in the shop now and parts are on order. Will get its spring engine oil change and this repaired for $400 something.

Looks like we got more weather moving in. With snow after the ice on Friday, our good spring weather will continue for a bit longer anyway. If its below freezing overnight, the melt down is real slow.
