If I was looking for a small truck I would also check out the new Nissan Frontier. It has a longer bed, but still a small truck. It also looks like a truck.
It's also the only smaller truck which still offers a V-6 engine. If I was looking for a small truck I would also check out the new Nissan Frontier. It has a longer bed, but still a small truck. It also looks nice.
Yeah, but price wise, Nissian can still be had for like $32k, roughly in the range of the Maverick with a couple options. Size, it's a bit larger, but not that much. The Nissan Frontier is considered a mid-size truck. The only "small" trucks currently available is the Maverick and Santa Cruz.

lol my mothers neighbor got arrested for it, it's called structuring in my state. As usual he knows nothing about it, they will report any kind of structured payment setup, especially in the short time frame he mentioned, doesn't remotely have to go over 10k. LOLI think multiple transfers just under $10,000 would attract more attention than a big transfer. I wouldn't assume no one knows about it. I make several transfers of $10,000 to $100,000 every year and so far, no SWAT teams or black helicopters.

"If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck"Seems small to me.
It's about the same size as the last new truck I bought... an '84 F150.Seems small to me.
I'd tread cautiously there given Nissan's somewhat precarious financial condition. Even if the company survives, there may be some paring of slower-selling vehicles. I believe their fullsize truck is already history. If I was looking for a small truck I would also check out the new Nissan Frontier. It has a longer bed, but still a small truck. I’m not in the market for a small truck, but I still like that better than the other small truck options.I'd tread cautiously there given Nissan's somewhat precarious financial condition. I dont think i would be worried about that. Let's say the Honda Nissian Suzuki marriage happens, that's not going to affect a vehicle already produced by Nissian. Even if the new group stops making new Frontiers, parts will still be around for 10+ years; and it's not like you will ever take a vehicle back to the dealer for service. Since neither Honda or Suzuki produce a truck like the frontier, it’s doubtful that it would be discontinued.I dont think i would be worried about that. Did a little Googling and was surprised to see the Frontier was the #3 selling midsize truck, behind the Colorado/Canyon and the tacoma. A bit surprising since I hardly ever see any on the road. Had nearly 2x the sales of the Ridgeline, so it would make sense to keep it should the merger ever happen.Since neither Honda or Suzuki produce a truck like the frontier, it’s doubtful that it would be discontinued.

Biggest surprise to me was how poorly the Ranger is selling...it's in last place.
All this was based on 1st Q 2024.
This should be in the "towing wrong" thread. Pulling isn't the problem. Stopping is. That, and the scrawny frame. And that's surprising because the Ranger is a great truck. My nephew pulled my brothers 40HP JD cabbed tractor on a 20' steel decked trailer, loaded down with implements too and said the Ranger pulled it no problem.
