    My FAVOURITE tractor video ever

Very nice, looks like what I would expect if buying a used tractor from Andrew the youtube guy:) Best, ed

    Desperately need to fix driveway

Good stuff here, build a road above grade, pack it well, and mess with it as little as possible. If I was constrained to a single implement it would be a harley/power rack, but unless you have something else to do with it, it sure is expensive. Next would be a simple scrapper, if it was...

    Mowing Kubota diesel overheating.

Yup, my mini has ac hydrolic and oil, I am amazed at how well it does, even if the a/c won't freeze you out. I honestly really don't know on the plastics, I have welded ATV plactics with varying degrees of success, but, if I was suspicious of a plastic radiator I would probably just order one...

In an effort to be slightly more agreeable:) Not sure what can or can't be un-soldered cored and sealed back up, that is why I carefully said cored/replaced. All my older/bigger stuff is so over cooled it can probably work with 40-50% plugged radiator and still be fine. The little/newer stuff...

    Mowing Kubota diesel overheating.

My night to be a disagreeable turd, sorry. Stop leak in little diesels, with small water jackets should be a last ditch effort. And you should be aware you are taking a better than fair chance of making a small problem a big one. Best, ed

Respectfully disagree, you are correct that a water pump could do it. Given the age, and the feedback that water does flow in and out of block, if I had a single guess it would be plugged radiator. Core/replace, I give it 90% odds of cure. Best, ed

See #8 LOL:) Sounds like you are on the right track! Best, ed

    Desperately need to fix driveway

All the above are good guidance. I use a skid, mini x, and 70 horse tractor with a pile of implements on my half mile drive, and I still have challenging spots. I could have saved some money and effort if I had done it this way. 1. Grade, road must be higher than surrounding area, either ditch...

Ghost in the tractor... (Engine suddenly quits with motion)

Maybe stuff floating in the fuel tank? when the fuel is at the correct level and sloshing a bit, blocks pick up. Quick check is to add fuel and see if problem changes, but, filling it up and having to drain is a drag. Water can do the same thing when it gets 'deep enough'. Consider cleaning...

    Temperature gauge pegs out

Yup saw your reply. Sure sounds like a bad sensor (you are blessed). Just for fun, might check the radiator for exhaust/bubbles. Best, ed

    Temperature gauge pegs out

That is a pretty good list, have we checked coolant level?

4020 fix it or forget it?

Oh my. If you have the skills and time it would probably be very satisfying. I personally would go another way. Best, ed

    Kubota 2501 bush hog question

Good heavy gear box, good rule of thumb: 5 PTO horse power per foot of rotary mower. Best, ed
