    Without the indent you can control the blade by just holding it until the blade or attachment is where you want it in either direction and stays where you want it when you let go. With the indent it works best for the splitter for constant flow.

    I have a double acting rear remote for my snow blade that self centers and a remote with indent that I use for my log splitter. The one with indent you have the flow one way with it forward and the other when backward handy if you hook the hoses up wrong :o)

    That's the reason for brakes and an emergency brake to keep it from rolling. Only with HST there's no need to take it out of gear or put it in neutral or shut it off when you stop.

    The fuse link would not be in the panel but in one of the wires . Near the engine. I repaced one with a fuse rather than the wire. It took me a while to find it and it was a no. of yrs ago so i forget the details. Hopefully some one here can point you in the right direction.

    For grading it's difficult with a 3 point hitch blade if that's what you have in mind. Back blading with a full bucket to get fairly level then going over it in float at a moderate speed with a full bucket. The angle of the bucket will determine the end result.

    I've had 3 tractors and when the bucket is sitting on the ground with the front edge up a bit they all did exactly the same thing when you stepped on it . There is no resistance because the controls are in neutral and the fluid is able to flow with no resistance.

    I've used a 10' piece of stove pipe with an elbow under the oil pan with a tiger torch at the other end when there was elec. where my backhoe was parked. @ -30 may take 1/2 hr. or more depending on wind.

    When it's -20 or colder if you use some kind of elec. heater next to your injection pump for a 1/2 hr. or so , or heat gun it will start much easier. Far better than burning out your starter. Where you with those temps. install a block or circulating heater.

    I have stalled my backhoe as well as my tractor going into a pile but it has never been from lifting the loader at the same time. It's from trying to move the whole pile when the bucket isn't tipped and raise in time. At least that's been my observation and experience.

    leaking front left front wheel hub can a weekend mechanic take this on

    I think when a front hub seal goes there's possibly a bearing failure . Lift the weight of the tractor off the ground take hold of the wheel and see if there's any play when you take hold of the tire and try to move it in and out from the hub. Pour instructions but maybe you get the drift.

    A restrictor to slow the boom from dropping fast ìs as far as I know from my experience is just a washer in the fitting where the hose connects to the cylinder. It often gets lost when a hose is replaced. The washer has a small hole to restrict the flow.

    Sounds like 1 side is getting air in it and once you push it out they synchronize again. I repaired a slide on a friends motor home once where this was the case , had to replace the lagging cylinder which showed no signs of leaking .

    Lots of banging & smoke yesterday when i started my tractor at - 27 C lasted 15 or 20 sec then just rattled while I let it warm up . Hydraulics at that temp are slow to warm up so took it easy for a while then plowed snow for 4 hrs. Motor never missed a beat.

    I disconnected every ssensor on my 2021 2610 except the PTO because their nothing but a pain. The nuetral switch took the most time because i had to remove the lever on it and anchor it so it was in neutral position all the time. The others i just unplug from the switch and plug them together.
