I agree. The open center flow system is a series system like series light bulbs on a Christmas lighting string. One dies and they all die as the circuit is "opened". Shouldn't be a problem to drive the tractor over to the loader and connect the lines and find out for sure.

What is the range of your gauge? Maybe its too high to read correctly. a 0-30# gauge is cheap and easily obtained that ought to give you a reading. Not an N but years ago I bought a 4000 with no oil pressure (optimistically hoping it was the gauge or a clog in the line....bought it not running)...

I have a CAV pump and just bought a new dual filter complete assembly on ebay for about $30 with free shipping and the first filter has a clear sump so that you can visually see if there is water in the fuel that needs to be drained before you have to diddle with the drain screw.

Branson Cummins licensed engines and Yanmar, at least the ones I have have 2 places for oil filling....one on the top of the valve cover and the second on the right, front side of the engine, obviously to preclude problems associated with external parts blocking access.

Something else you might do is get rid of the THD fluid in the front axle and install gear oil. There is some history behind what I say.

Well back in the 1950s when I was in high school, There was a whole wing, probably 1/3 of the classroom area of the whole school....including the gym, that was devoted to trades of all sorts including one of my favorite classes, Mechanical Drawing.

Well I went to my small town automotive parts dealer and found a 51R sealed battery that met the dimesions and surpassed the CCA for less than 80 bucks. Since then I happened to notice the battery in my 2009 Honda Element and it too is runing the 51R battery. Interesting.

Supply parts can be manufactured any time. Unit serial number is recorded in the year manufactured. Non automotive suppliers don't emphasize the model year like auto/truck vendors do and in the resale of non such items, condition is the key, not the year it rolled off the assembly line.

I use Power Services in the grey container for fuel hygiene. Directions are on the container. White container is anti-jel. On what it is, pull up the history of the founder and it will give you some insight that is does what it needs to do. Most auto parts outlets carry it including wallyworld.
